Shining under the Sun: Summer Fancy Food 2023

Once again, we participated in the Summer Fancy Food 2023 fair in New York, United States.

Every year, the culinary world dresses up in style at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, where one of the most relevant events in the food industry takes place: the Summer Fancy Food Show. In its 2023 edition, Turbana, Unibán’s snack line, stood out once again with its presence, presenting an innovative range of products.

Turbana echoed the fervor and energy of this gathering, showcasing its line of freeze-dried fruit «Freeze Dried Fruit,» as well as its delicious «Sweet potato & Mix» and irresistible «Green Banana Chips.» With this participation, we reaffirm our commitment to the international expansion of our markets, seeking to reach new palates to consolidate our global presence.

María Camila Vélez Echeverri, Director of Business Development and Marketing at Uniban, expressed enthusiastically: «It is an honor for us to participate for the sixth time in this fair, which represents a great market showcase for specialty foods and is aimed at traders, restaurants, supermarkets, and retail buyers.»

Turbana’s consistent presence at this event is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in the food industry.

The Fancy Food Show is one of the most important specialized food events in the United States, which took place from June 25th to 27th this year, and it is not just an opportunity to exhibit products but also a space to detect trends, study the market, and establish valuable connections with potential customers. In this sense, Turbana made the most of its participation, bringing its product portfolio closer to a diverse and demanding audience.

With a focus on quality, development, and design of its products, Turbana captivated attendees during the three days of the fair. Traders, restaurants, supermarkets, and retail buyers who visited their stand had the opportunity to firsthand experience the latest innovations from the brand, ranging from freeze-dried fruit to sweet potato chips and vegetable mix.

The US market plays a fundamental role in Turbana’s growth strategy, representing 53% of its total sales. Therefore, participation in the Summer Fancy Food 2023 not only allowed strengthening relationships with existing customers but also establishing new connections and reaffirming the brand’s positioning in the North American market.
